Stage is Set for 50th National Convention, is Your Local Ready?
June 17, 2016
Delegates in attendance of this year's Convention will be pleasantly surprised by the flexibilities offered by the host hotel, as well as the countless amenities and amusement park offerings directly surrounding the Buena Vista Palace Hotel (owned and operated by Hilton, so eligible attendees will be able to utilize their HHonors Rewards Program). NFFE's 50th National Convention will be held at the Buena Vista Palace Resort, Lake Buena Vista, Florida commencing at 9:30 AM, Monday September 26, 2016. The scheduled adjournment will be COB Thursday, September 29, 2016 or as otherwise determined by the Delegates in attendance. (Full Story)

Collaboration Drives NFFE Indian Health Service Council Contract Negotiations

Contract negotiations can be an agonizing experience for many NFFE Locals and Councils, spending months or years battling Agency management over various contract provisions. However, the same cannot be said about the NFFE Indian Health Service (IHS) Council’s recently-bargained Master Contract, in which Union and management negotiators came together in a collaborative manner and negotiated under the premise of interest-based bargaining.
