Randy Erwin Appointed National Secretary-Treasurer of NFFE
October 2, 2015
Yesterday, following approval from the NEC, President Dougan appointed NFFE Executive Director Randy Erwin to become the next National Secretary-Treasurer for the National Federation of Federal Employees. For most NFFE-IAM members, Erwin is a well-known figure in the organization and has dedicated more than 14 years of his career to advancing the interests of federal employees at the local and national level. Erwin began his career with NFFE in 2001, serving as an assistant to NFFE National President Richard Brown for three years before becoming NFFE’s legislative director in 2005. In 2007, Erwin was elected President of NFFE Local 2, and served in that role until February of 2015, shortly after his appointment as NFFE Executive Director in 2014. (Full Story)

In addition to fighting to keep federal agencies and departments adequately funded, NFFE is working to mitigate the negative effects of a shutdown, should one occur. (Full Story)
