FEEA is the only non-profit organization devoted solely to helping civilian federal and postal employees. FEEA helps federal workers every day through its Emergency Assistance programís no-interest loans and disaster grants, as well as with an annual merit-based scholarship program. Offering hundreds of scholarships annually, FEEA has had an immense impact on federal workers for 25 years.

This scholarship competition is open each year to members of the IAM and their children throughout the United States and Canada. Scholarships to make possible the attainment of a Bachelorís degree or a two-year vocational/technical certification are determined in a competition among eligible applicants that is judged by a special Selection Committee.
