(National Federation of Federal Employees)
Do you want to make a difference by saving millions of taxpayer dollars and make government work more effectively? Well now’s your chance: NFFE is encouraging all of our members to participate in the fourth annual SAVE Award Competition.
The annual Securing American Value and Efficiency (SAVE) Award competition has asks federal employees to submit their own ideas on how to save taxpayer dollars by improving efficiencies at the workplace.
Since it began a few years ago, over 75,000 employees have submitted their cost-saving ideas and nearly 60 have been included in the President’s last three budgets. The winner of the SAVE Award will have the opportunity to present his or her idea directly to the President at the White House. You can make a difference in government and submit your idea before July 24th, 2012.
So what are you waiting for? Do your part to improve your government by participating in this competition. If you have an idea for how to improve the way your agency does business, please submit it here, or visit http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/2012/07/10/2012-save-awardfor more information.
