Washington, D.C.
– Today, as the militia that is unlawfully occupying the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge indicate an interest in ending their armed standoff with the federal government, William R. Dougan, National President of the National Federation of Federal Employees, America’s oldest federal employee union, representing federal workers in Southeastern Oregon and throughout the U.S., including U.S. Forest Service Employees on the Malheur National Forest, is calling for law officials to apprehend all militants involved in this occupation:

"Since the beginning of January, a group of armed militants have occupied the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. That facility is a federal installation, and this hostile occupation is a clear act of sedition. Rather than a quick response by federal authorities to apprehend the lawless, armed militia, law enforcement has allowed the occupation to continue. In doing so, law enforcement has enabled lawlessness to go unchecked in the eyes of the nation and emboldened additional militia sympathizers to descend on the area. Enough is enough. The militants occupying the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge must be arrested."

"Labor unions and civil rights groups have long engaged in civil disobedience in protest of unfair government policies. Armed takeovers are not civil disobedience. This crosses the line."

"The events that have transpired in Oregon have induced a fear of violence among federal employees throughout Southeastern Oregon. We have reports of employees of the U.S. Forest Service Employees on the Malheur National Forest receiving threats and being stalked by sympathizers of the militants. The situation has gotten bad enough that nearby federal installations remain closed out of fear of an attack. Allowing this lawlessness to continue jeopardizes the health and safety of hard-working federal employees and calls into question the federal government’s commitment to protecting its own workers."

"Make no mistake about it, if a single federal employee is harmed in this situation, we will seek to redress any damages that arise from the negligence of the federal government in a court of law."

Take Action!
Enough on the thoughts of past instances of rebellion. This is not ruby ride, not the freemans. We are send a very wrong message by not doing anything, we are sending a message that's it's okay. It's not.

I can't believe that the law enforcement has let this take over last this long. If a gang took over a bank or another building by force the FBI and other law enforcement agency would have those people behind bars by now. I don't get it.

Malheur National Wildlife Refuge
No one is twisting the ranchers' arms to graze their animals on the refuge. If they don't want to pay the fees that are well below what the FWS should be charging for grazing rights then let them find pastures elsewhere.

But since these ranchers have terminated their contracts, the FWS needs to round up all of their animals that are now trespassing on the refuge and start to donate the meat to the homeless shelters.

Remember Baltimore
Let's get some condemnation for the militants that burned Baltimore causing a disruption of commerce as well as a disruption to local, state, and federal government agencies. What's good for the communist goose should be good for the fascist gander. :) We have a legal system in place that all sides need to use.

White Mormon Terrorists
Please pressure FBI to send a SWAT TEAM in and arrest these White, Mormon Terrorists before local Paiute Warriors do it themselves.

Wow you want to tout civil right and labor unions upholding the rights of americans and right make right. I just can't believe what is going on in this country as a federal retiree everyone is seeking their 15 minutes of glory. Well the supreme court is about to end you all your hats and then we will talk about that.
