As Unionists we have all run into situations where we simply don’t have the requisite knowledge or experience to effectively conduct our representational duties and union functions. In times like these NFFE representatives can turn to their personal labor-relations and internal union expert: their National Business Representative.

Often referred to as “BRs,” NFFE’s Business Representatives assist Locals with everything from representational issues and communications, to legislative contacts, recruitment plans, contract negotiations, and drafting bylaws. BRs are highly-experienced labor relations experts, each with decades representing bargaining unit employees in the workplace. Your BR is a great resource if you find yourself dealing with issues that are outside your area of expertise, or you simply want to confirm what you think is the right thing to do.

There are currently six BRs and an Assistant Directing Business Representative serving seven geographical regions across the United States. There is also one BR, Roosevelt Littlejohn, dedicated solely to representing Service Contract Act employees at locations throughout the country. BRs are available to assist you via phone, email, or in-person visits.
