NFFE is committed to ensuring that all of our members get the best representation possible. But as our union continues to grow, so too do the representational challenges we face. Keeping up with the demands of a rapidly-growing membership base, NFFE is proud to announce the hiring of a new Assistant General Counsel, Philip Snodgrass.

Snodgrass previously interned at NFFE during his days at the Northeastern University School of Law and has long-since advocated for federal workers’ rights. During his stint as NFFE’s law clerk he worked on a wide variety of cases, most notably the successful appeal of a controversial Job Corps drug testing program.

“I am very excited to be back with NFFE, said Snodgrass. “I look forward to working on cases that protect the rights of everyone that we represent.”

After completing his internship with NFFE, Snodgrass then worked with the American Federation of Government Employees, another federal union and key partner of NFFE’s here in Washington, D.C.

“We’re lucky to have such a talented and experienced young attorney on staff,” said NFFE National President William R. Dougan. “Our members deserve the best we have to give, and Phil meets that standard by every measure. We look forward to providing even better representation to our members from here on out.”

Snodgrass is a member of the Maryland state bar and grew up just outside the city of Baltimore. He graduated from Indiana University’s Bloomington campus before attending law school. He currently resides in Washington, D.C.
