Register Now for Women’s Program and Human Rights Seminar at the Winpisinger Center

We are happy to inform you that space is still available in two upcoming classes at the William W. Winpisinger Center: the Basic Women’s Program and the Human Rights Training. Both classes are scheduled to run simultaneously on February 24th-March 1st and August 25th-30th of 2013.

The Basic Women’s Program offers our union sisters the opportunity to come together in a learning environment and network with their peers from across the nation. The purpose of the course is to teach our women leaders how to motivate and empower sisters at their home locals and develop a new generation of leaders.

The Human Rights Training emphasizes critical lessons on the many issues human rights issues impacting workers in the 21st century. Participants receive guidance on how to establish a viable human rights committee and ensure that it operates in a proactive manner. The program’s goal is to empower participants to make a difference on issue relating to discrimination, bullying, and harassment in the workplace.
