Richard Brown dedicated his life to enhancing the well-being of federal employees and their families. Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund Scholarships

FEEA is the only non-profit organization devoted solely to helping civilian federal and postal employees. FEEA helps federal workers every day through its Emergency Assistance program’s no-interest loans and disaster grants, as well as with an annual merit-based scholarship program. Offering hundreds of scholarships annually, FEEA has had an immense impact on federal workers for 25 years.

IAMAW Scholarships

Application: IAM Member, IAM Child Vocational, IAM Child College/University

Amount: $1000-2500

This scholarship competition is open each year to members of the IAM and their children throughout the United States and Canada. Scholarships to make possible the attainment of a Bachelor’s degree or a two-year vocational/technical certification are determined in a competition among eligible applicants that is judged by a special Selection Committee.

Union Plus Scholarships


Due Date: Applications are available starting in mid-June, and a complete application must be received on or before 12:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) on January 31st of the scholarship year. Applications received after this deadline will not be considered.

Since 1992, the Union Plus has awarded more than $3.5 million to students of working families who want to begin or continue their post-secondary education. Over 2,300 families have benefited from our commitment to higher education. The scholarship program is offered through the Union Plus Education Foundation.
