Richard N. Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund

NFFE has teamed up with the Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund (FEEA) -- a non-profit organization that provides scholarships and emergency assistance to federal employees and their families -- to dedicate a scholarship in the name of late NFFE National President, Richard N. Brown. Richard Brown dedicated his life to enhancing the well-being of federal employees and their families. This scholarship is intended to ensure that Rick's legacy of selfless stewardship of federal workers will live on for years to come.

Applications for the 2012 scholarship competition must be post marked by no later than March 30, 2012. Applicants for the Richard N. Brown Memorial Scholarship must be a NFFE-IAM member in good standing or a spouse or child of a member in good standing. The applicant or the applicant’s sponsoring federal employee must have at least three (3) years of civilian federal service by August 31, 2012. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and some form of community service. Dependant applicants should be full-time students, while employee applicants may be part-time students. All applicants must be accepted into an accredited degree program.
