Fifth Annual Public Service Charity 5K Run/Walk on May 7, 2017. Happening in Washington, DC and in additional locations nationwide, all proceeds from the event will go towards the Federal Employee Education & Assistance Fund (FEEA).
FEEA is an independent nonprofit organization that provides emergency loans, disaster relief grants, scholarships, and childcare subsidies to civilian federal employees. Many NFFE members have received financial assistance from FEEA in their time of need. NFFE is one of the founding organizations of FEEA. Since its founding in 1986, FEEA has helped over 50,000 families, and holds a four-star Charity Navigator rating.
