Dear NFFE-IAM Members,
Happy Labor Day to you and your families. This weekend is a celebration of you, and the critical work you do for the federal government every day.
The American public looks to you to keep our nation safe and strong, at agencies like DoD and DHS. Our Veterans trust in your healthcare at the VA. Families across the country rely on workers at the Forest Service to enjoy our national parks and protect our communities from wildfires. American travelers depend on the Passport employees that provide essential and timely service. To every worker who is committed to their work as a federal employee, we have you to thank for keeping our country running each day. I am proud that our NFFE family includes the most dedicated workers this country has to offer.
For the fourth year in a row, NFFE has seen outstanding organizing success and tremendous growth among our membership. We have used this increase in strength to fight for better policies at the bargaining table, to have more influence on capitol hill, and to protect federal employees from ongoing threats to their wellbeing like Project 2025 and Schedule F.
To all the dues-paying members across the country – thank you for your membership in this union. Our collective might is only possible because of your commitment to NFFE. I encourage you to share the amazing work your union is doing with your non-member colleagues and to ask at least one person to consider joining us in our fight to improve your workplaces.
