The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers 2015 Legislative Conference will be held on Monday, May 11 through Thursday, May 14 at the Hyatt Regency Washington, 400 New Jersey Ave., NW, Washington, D.C., 20001-1527.
It is very important that every NFFE Local and/or Council make an effort to send at least one delegate to the IAM Legislative Conference this year. Federal workers’ pay, benefits, worker rights, and jobs are under attack in Washington, and attending this conference is our opportunity to speak up and put an end to it. We must use this occasion to hold members of Congress accountable for their decisions impacting the federal workforce.
Delegate registration will be held from 9 AM until 12:30 PM on Monday, May 11 and from 8 AM until 9 AM on Tuesday, May 12. The IAM will host a Congressional reception on Wednesday evening, May 13.
If you plan on staying at the Hyatt Regency Washington hotel, (where the conference is being held) the deadline for reservations is April 3, 2015!
The IAM call letter for the 2015 Legislative Conference and legislative delegate questionnaire can be found here. Be sure to complete and submit the delegate questionnaire to the IAM Legislative and Political Action Department no later than May 4.
