Planet Hollywood will host the IAM Government Employees Conference Sept. 17-21, 2017. NFFE’s Centennial celebration will take place at the conference on the evening of Sept. 18, 2017. Don’t miss it!

Nearly 100 years ago, NFFE became the first federal employee union to represent our nation’s civil servants. Since that time our union has fought tirelessly to represent our members at the negotiation table and on Capitol Hill. With our centennial celebration approaching quickly, NFFE is preparing to honor its past and celebrate its future by collaborating with the IAM to host its first ever Government Employees Conference this September in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The conference will be held from Sunday, September 17 to Thursday, September 21, 2017, at the Planet Hollywood Hotel. Registration will be held from 1-6 pm on Sunday, September 17, and will continue from 8-9 am on Monday, September 18. Rooms are available for $75 per night plus an additional $32 daily resort fee through August 10, 2017. Reservations can be made directly through the hotel or by contacting Metropolitan Travel Services.

For the first time in NFFE-IAM history, September’s Government Employees training offers an opportunity for federal employees to connect from across the country to specifically address the challenges facing our members and celebrate how far we have come.  The conference will feature government representatives and subject matter expert speakers as well as panel discussions and trainings designed to improve our member’s communication and representational skills. On Monday, September 18, 2017, NFFE and the IAM will host a reception to celebrate its centennial (100-year) anniversary.

“We are very fortunate to be able to offer this training opportunity for our members. Now is the time for us to come together not only to learn and network, but to celebrate the incredible achievement of working together to improve the lives of federal employees for 100 years. I encourage all of our locals to join us this September for the first-ever IAM Government Employees Conference and NFFE’s centennial celebration. It’s going to be a very special event for our union! You won’t want to miss it,” said NFFE National President Randy Erwin.

Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to learn from some of the foremost government employee experts in the field and collaborate with other federal employees from throughout the country!
