Bob Dylan once mused “You don’t got to be a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.” In other words, you don’t need to be an expert to know what it takes to make the most of something. In many ways, this has been story of NFFE’s national website, www.nffe.org.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of users register millions of hits on the NFFE website, consuming news, trainings, representational forms, visibility materials, and countless other resources. During that time some members were lucky enough to receive training at the Winpisinger Center, or read the occasional announcement of a new site feature. But by and large, however, NFFE’s site users were left to discover the site by themselves.
That is, until now.
We are proud to announce the release of the first edition of the NFFE.org User’s Guide – a one-stop resource for everything you need to know about our national website. The site has countless tools and resources custom designed to meet the needs of officers, stewards, members, and the general public. Now you can order or print your own guide to these resources straight from your desktop.
“The website is the nerve center of NFFE’s national communications infrastructure,” said NFFE National President William R. Dougan. “New resources and information is being added every day – tools that can make your work as a NFFE representative easier and more effective. The more we utilize these resources, the better representation we give to our members – both in the workplace and in Washington. This is a clear must-read for any NFFE representative.”
The User’s Guide explains, among others, how to sign up with the website, how to access NFFE’s seven toolkits, where to find the latest federal employee news, how to get active on legislative issues, tools to improve local recruiting, and much, much more. So don’t wait – download and print your copy of the NFFE.org User’s Guide today!
