The Union Plus Scholarship application for 2014 is now available. The application deadline is Friday January 31, 2014, 12pm EST. All NFFE-IAM members, spouses and children of members that have already been accepted into a U.S. accredited university, college, community college or technical/vocation school are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants must submit one letter of recommendation, two essays and information from the union they are affiliated with. Since 1992, the Union Plus Scholarship Program has awarded more than $3.5 million to students of working union families who want to begin or continue their post-secondary education. Over 2,300 families have benefited from this scholarship. The Union Plus Scholarship Program is offered through the Union Plus Education Foundation.
