This Wednesday, July 25th, federal employees across the country are asked to wear red in a nation-wide act of solidarity. Federal workers are standing up for their rights, including the right to quality representation, due process, and a meaningful voice in the workplace.
The #RedForFeds event is in response to three Executive Orders signed by President Trump in May that target the voice of federal employees and the strength of federal union members by directing agencies to supersede existing laws that govern federal labor-management relations.
In addition to the wearing red, federal employee unions will rally outside of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia shortly before oral arguments scheduled for later Wednesday, in support of the NFFE, IAM, and other unions’ lawsuit against the White House.
