This week, the National Federation of Federal Employees (NFFE) is celebrating National Nurses Week, which begins each year on May 6th and ends on May 12th, Florence Nightingale’s birthday.

NFFE is proud to represent thousands of nurses who work at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), and Indian Health Service (IHS). These dedicated professionals care for our nation’s veterans, active military, and our diverse native populations every day, providing an invaluable service to the American people.

“I am so proud of the critical work that NFFE-IAM members do as nurses,” said NFFE National President Randy Erwin. “The care nurses provide is essential to the wellbeing of every community in this country and we are eternally grateful for their service. Thank you, nurses, for all that you do every day!”
