NFFE-IAM Sisters and Brothers,

I am reaching out to encourage you to sign up for the FREE Federal Employee Basic Training Program. The program is held at the IAM’s world-class union training campus, the William W. Winpisinger Center in southern Maryland, from March 5th-10th, 2023. The deadline to apply was January 9th, but has been extended to allow for more participants. Please do not delay your registration and sign up today! The program is designed to train local leaders on all things union related for federal employees.

Federal employees work in a complex environment. The Federal Employees program uses seminars and workshops to educate federal sector employees about the legal and political aspects of their jobs. Participants learn about lobbying Congress, Workers Compensation (OWCP), the Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA), Prohibited Personnel Practices, the Hatch Act, Grievance and Arbitration Processing, Strategic Planning, Communications and Collective Bargaining.

There are still many spots available and we need several more participants in order to hold the program. Best of all, the program is completely free – travel, tuition, boarding, and meals are all provided at no cost to you. Again, the deadline to apply has been temporarily extended, so please do not delay!

Please see the registration information at the link below. If you have any questions, please contact your NFFE National Business Rep. or the NFFE HQ Legal Team.

In Solidarity,

Randy L. Erwin
NFFE National President
