Two Scholarship Deadlines Approaching March 25, 2019

Below you fill find two scholarships (range $1,000 – $5,000) available for eligible NFFE-IAM members, federal employees, and their families. Both scholarships are administered through the Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund (FEEA). NFFE-IAM members are eligible to win both scholarships.

*NFFE-IAM members: While applying, be sure to check off that you are a NFFE member and indicate your local number. Doing so will automatically submit your application for the Richard N. Richard N. Brown Memorial Scholarship

NFFE has teamed up with the FEEA to dedicate a scholarship in the name of late NFFE National President, Richard “Rick” N. Brown. Rick dedicated his life to enhancing the well-being of federal employees and their families. This scholarship is intended to ensure that Rick’s legacy of leadership and selfless stewardship of federal workers will live on for decades to come.

 
Eligibility Requirements: Children, step-children, legal dependents of full, or part-time permanent federal civilian or postal workers employed by the federal government for more than three years, as well as the employees themselves and their spouses.

Scholarship Amount: $1,000

Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund

FEEA is the only non-profit organization devoted solely to helping civilian federal and postal employees. FEEA helps federal workers every day through its Emergency Assistance program’s no-interest loans and disaster grants, as well as with an annual merit-based scholarship program. Offering hundreds of scholarships annually, FEEA has had an immense impact on federal workers for 25 years.
