This year NFFE will be hosting a photo contest to celebrate the hard work done by all the NFFE-IAM members throughout the country. The NFFE community hosts a vast array of occupations and talents, and we want to celebrate your work by capturing it on film!
We are happy to announce that this year’s top three photo entries, as well as runners up, will receive prizes for their submissions. The first place photo will receive a Kindle Fire, second place will receive a $50 Visa gift card, third place will receive a NFFE travel bag, and four runners up will receive a stylish NFFE-IAM hat. So get out your cameras, get snapping, and may the best photo win!
Photo entries will be judged based upon the quality of the photographs and their demonstration of hard work, unity, and union pride. The best photos will depict members working alongside one another at their daily vocations, recruiting new members, or displaying membership cards – think unity!
Although a single entrant may only win a single award for this year’s contest, up to three formal entries may be submitted per person. We are happy to accept more than three photos for the purpose of adding to the NFFE website/newsletter, as well.
The last day to submit entries for the competition is August 31st 2013. Contest photos may be submitted to cbythrow@nffe.org, or by mailing a disk to the NFFE national office in Washington, D.C. (see contest rules for details). All submissions should be digital and accompanied by an official Entry Form & Release Form. Remember, the more entries you submit, the better your chance of winning.
