NFFE, joined by fellow labor unions as part of the Federal Workers Alliance (FWA), sent a letter to President Biden requesting urgent action to remove Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA) Member James T. Abbot and proceed with the nomination of a replacement to accompany the renomination of Ernest W. DuBester as Chairman.

Today, NFFE applauds U.S. Senator Brian Schatz (D-HI) for introducing the Federal Adjustment of Income Rates (FAIR) Act to provide for a 3.2% pay increase for federal workers next year. The Senate version of the FAIR Act matches the House version introduced by U.S. Representative Gerry Connolly (D-VA) in January.
